I mean Dax quickly became another staff's pet based on work ethic and leadership qualities. He has held down the Mike at the moment while the Willie and Sam is being figured out. Overall, I thought Dax had a pretty good year last year and I expect improvement in his final season that only happens to be his second at his natural position. He is not as strong as his frame would indicate and he isn't fast enough to compensate (limitations you mentioned), but he is still an above average linebacker.
